> Im sure David Gockley, General Manager is fuming mad about the typo error <g>. Anyways, the TRAVIATA, this coming winter is a new production by Christopher Alden (yes, the brother of the controversial David Alden, who presented us with the silly Macbeth)...Mr. Gockley says, he (Chris) is the tamer version of the two. Mr. C. Alden also directed the recent Virgil Thompson's THE MOTHER OF US ALL at Glimmerglass Opera. Patricia Racette will make her Houston debut as Violetta. New Music Director Patrick Summers will take the conducting helm. I am looking forward to it.
