There was a review by William Youngren of Kenneth Lane's "Wagnerian
Heldentenor: Wagner's Epic Heroes" (Valhalla VRCD-1595) in the March/April
1997 edition of "Fanfare". It's at:

For some curious reason there is another review of the recording by James
Miller in the very same issue. It's at:

Even curiouser, as Alice would say, it the unavailability of the CD from the
sole distributor, H&B Direct. Their relevant page can be visited at:

But what's the point? The disc is out of stock, and has been for ages, since
not long after it was issued.

Both the reviewers seem to regard Kenneth Lane as a gifted singer. Pity we
can't hear him.
