Crosby was the number one box office star, male or female, for five years straight
in the early forties; he was in the top ten for a total of 13 years. He was the top
singing and acting star of his era, a feat achieved by no one else. Doris Day had a
comparable run at the box office in the early 60s, but by that time she was no
longer topping the music charts.

Reagan was never close to being in the top ten.
