Well, it's time the suspension got resolved to a final cadence - and not a Wagnerian one 
where it often goes "deceptive." Just V(4-3) to I, double bar. No curtain calls.

And my take on the current debacle is that a huge Mozartean "John Copley, perdono" be 
sung by the Met administration - but that Copley should have every right to say "muori, 
dannato, muori." And that anyone with tickets to this Semiramide should return them 
immediately and demand a refund.
