Some fellow opera fans were mulling over great arias that appear to
contain really long musical introductions before the actual singing
finally begins.  Suffering "senior moments" all I could think of were
Alvaro's "o tu che in seno agli angeli",  Filipo's "ella giammai m'amo"
& Arturo's "a te o cara".

Does anyone care to recall some equally obvious long introduction
selections?

Ciao,

Paolo
