Norma on PBS. The Pollione sounds like Mirto Picchi, but not as good. Intonation issues. Here comes Norma. Spot on recitativo. Love the set and costumes.
The Casta Diva is exemplary and seems integral and not a display piece.

The foregoing view is strengthened and confirmed by your having posted your comment to the entire list rather than in a private message to the original poster. What does such conduct on your part do for you? -- make you feel superior?, serve as a demonstration of your purported (everyone laugh) higher intelligence?, serve as a substitute for unattainable sexual stimulation? or serve as a sop to assuage your deep frustration that you were not born in an earlier age at a foreign location where you would have had the appropriate opportunity to join the Gestapo, which you believe would have been the perfect showcase for your talents?
