It should now conclude Act Two, with music by Marc-Antony Turnage (though he might want 
to immediately back out of the idea - we should not let him).

Potrei aver dormito attraverso questo.  (I  could have slept through this) - with drink replacing 
the knife already in her hand, maybe picking up the candelabra momentarily then putting it 
back down again  - plus perhaps a fleeting reference to Lerner & Lowe, one of their most 
popular tunes.
