I'm sure there are many here on the List whose memory goes back more
than ten years. What about the time when President George W Bush, at
some sort of world leaders' conference, gave Chancellor Angela Merkel an
impromptu shoulder massage? We all saw the photos plastered across the
world news: Angie reacting with shock-horror, the Shrub with -- as they
say down there in Texeze -- a shit-eatin' grin on his face ...

The way the wind is blowing ... if that had happened today, he would
have had to resign. Inappropriate touching.

The flood of Middle-Eastern refugees into northern Europe has created
numerous challenges regarding the way "inter-cultural communication" has
to deal with such "Misconduct" thinking. At one point, the Finnish
agency looking out for these migrants went to far as to publish
guidelines for the newly-arrived Southern folk, to the effect that:

"Our women dress the way that they do because they want you to LOOK at
them ... but not to TOUCH them."
