There are now eleven review on The Opera Critic and one of the most important is 
Mark Swed's in the Los Angeles Times who seems to understand the importance of 
this opera.

My impression is that conservative voices dominate here and, while the rest of the 
world thinks highly of Adams and Glass, most here can't be bothered. On 
Operabase, Glass is always at the top of "most performed living composer" with 
Adams not far behind. 

The Philharmonie de Paris had a "Nuit minimaliste" on 7 October. It started at 8pm 
with Glass, Riley, Cage and others and continued to dawn the next day. The entire
