How bad is the Met's IT Department?

I just got an email promoting Saturday's Zauberflote HD. (It's Monday
now!)

And their website is a disgrace. When one clicks on the calendar, the
screen turns mostly white with only the names of the operas and their
starting times displayed for however many days remain in the month.
There's plenty of room for cast information, and lots of empty space
indicating little more than days gone by.

What idiot designed this, and what idiot approved of it?
