The 1969 Covent Garden performance of Hamlet was partially broadcast (Act 1 only); the
1971 Covent Garden was broadcast complete. Both are available at the National Sound
Archive at the British Library, and the 1971 performance is already digitised and available to
listen on site (not off site). The NSA also have a short (8min) interview with Searle about the
