The Traubel Marschallin! (four performances, one in Philadelphia, in January of 1951)

Wrong! it was not contractual obligations that forced them to
add performances of Gianni Schicchi to Salome. The contract
stipulated one thing only, that there be an intermission. The
program could have included any other work, including, for
instance, Cavalleria, Pagliacci or Tabarro, or Don Juan, if it came
to that. Or, God love us, they could have done Elektra and Salome with
a break.

Pairing Elektra with Gianni Schicchi is bizarre at best!
