How about the 1/5/40 matinee of Parsifal, featuring both Alexander Kipnis'
debut, as Gurnemanz, but Mme. Flagstad and Mr. Melchior as Kundry and
Parsifal......Schorr was the Amfortas and Leinsdorf conducted.
