Hi Listers,

The greatest gasp I heard from the audience was during the death scene in
Boris Gudonov in the old production at the Met. Maarti Talvela was the
Boris, and as he sang his last words he toppled from a flight of stairs and
fell to the stage floor. The audience gasped as one.
