A happy male couple?, an "oppressed" male couple?, is coupling itself
a thing outwardly to be proud of?  These are some of the questions that
should be asked in each and every example so far offered.

It is absurd to compile such a list as though it exemplified the concept of
gay pride, which had never been thought of when many of the stories were
written.
