> She sang two performances at the Met in November 1986 as Tosca, the first with Mauro, the second with Bonisolli. I was fortunate enough to have been at the second one. A memorable few days: Kraus' aristocratic Roméo with Soviero, Sutherland and Fisichella in Puritani, and a Rosenkavalier with Tomowa-Sintow, Fassbänder and Hendricks for good measure (also with Romano Nieders, who I believe was a pretty big star in his home country, in the second of two Met performances, only as Ochs). I'm enjoying tonight's Fidelio too.
