Well , yes there must have been temptation. He asked Kraus for voice lessons, but he refused.

Never forget Araiza. All the tenors of that group loved him the best. Stage fright! Imagine that.

Today I got a note from someone showing an album which dared call Pavarotti the greatest of all 20th Century tenors.

Geez! The century of Caruso, Melchior, Gigli, Thill and so many others.

Embarrassing. PR is sometimes idiotic.
