I had occasion to ask him questions every so often about certain broadcasts, and he always responded to me and answered my questions and even made personal recommendations. He was a truly invaluable resource for all of us. This is very unexpected and sad news for everyone on this Board. I'm very personally saddened and am feeling a sense of personal loss. May he rest in eternal peace. He's REALLY going to be missed!

Dear David

My sincere condolences. This is a great loss for all of us; Bob's weekly
updates on Met broadcasts were among the most ennobling and
informative features of this forum, and they will be sorely missed, as
will his presence.

On a personal level, the last time I saw Bob and spoke with him was at the
funeral of another member of this forum, Frank Sloan. It was also the last
time I saw and spoke with Jim Lamb. This is, indeed, a very sad day

Rest in peace.

Bob R
