That Der Vampyr was an unexpected delight. Sarah cast James Atherton as the tenor lead.

He also appeared in Boston as Vasek replacing Vickers when the Met did their Bartered

Bride here.  He had an attractive tenor voice and it was tragic that he left us at such an 

early age.
