This was the only part of the production that worked for me.  It created an Ibsenesque, claustrophobic atmosphere that focused the drama on the relationships of the main characters.
Stemma was sublime, Skelten heroic, Gubanova impressive, Papa fine, Rattle and the orchestra superb.
