Oh great, you actually played the PC Card.  Unreal - if you have sources to support your 
attribution of the quote to her, then post them otherwise you have slandered a woman who 
does not deserve it.  Period.  And all the contortions of those on the list who have tacitly 
supported you (dropping the g was a sign of her earthiness - bull! - show me an example 
from these lists where an artist other than Price was quoted in this manner??????).  

YOU don't like Pavarotti. Fine. That is entirely your business.  But when you drag in another 
person, put words in their mouth without any reference or proof, then you are going to get 
called out.  

But if you have a source then give it to us so we can judge its reliability. It is very simple.  

And would think that Marilyn Horne, one of Price's closest friends in the operatic world, 
might have been incensed by the fat-shaming you attribute to Miss Price.
