I think maybe they did. Sometimes I have it on for hours and they don't kick it off. Only occasionally have I had the infamous: Are you still there? It seems to me that if they are allowing recording, then there's no reason for the 90 minute limit. Will be interesting to see.

Dear Ellen,I dropped my Sirius internet subscriptionbecause they would interrupt the programwith audible beeps every 90 minutes towhich you had to respond. This makesit impossible to record for later listeningwithout the audible interruptions, plusyou have to be there to respond or theconnection terminates.
Do you know if they removed the 90-minuterequirement?

As some of you know , the DISH satellite service includes many Sirius XM
stations including Met opera radio. One of the advantages of this had
been to record operas for future playback via the DISH DVR. However,
when I tried to record Tristan on Monday, I got a message stating that
this program is not available for recording. Upon investigation, I
discovered that ALL of the XM channels now have this message.

After several time consuming phone calls, I was told that Sirius is now
allowing recording on its internet service (for which I would have to
pay extra for) and is now prohibiting DVR recording via DISH. If you
are in the same position, beware!
