A Celebration of Metropolitan Opera Broadcasts
Wednesday, December 14, 2005; 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

The 2005-06 Metropolitan Opera broadcast season, which opens on December 17
with Rigoletto, marks the seventy-fifth consecutive season of radio
broadcasts live from the stage of the Met. To celebrate this momentous
occasion, the Museum will host a Singers' Roundtable with stars of the Met,
plus radio and television clips from historic live broadcast performances.

Panel:    Martina Arroyo, Soprano; Marilyn Horne, Mezzo-soprano;
Regina Resnik, Mezzo-soprano

Special guest Rolando Villazón

Host: Margaret Juntwait, Announcer, Metropolitan Opera Radio Broadcasts

Moderator:	Alan Wagner, Television Producer and Broadcast Commentator

Also, young tenor Rolando Villazón, who will make his Met radio broadcast
debut on December 17 as the Duke in Rigoletto, will also join the
festivities. Following the Singers Roundtable with Horne, Regina Resnik and
Martina Arroyo he will be interviewed for 15 or 20 minutes by Margaret
Juntwait about the upcoming December 17 radio broadcast (which will be
broadcast around the world to millions of listeners).

Thanks,

Jane
