I agree with you, Teresa. Alan should also think himself lucky that he gets
so many passes. Over here in London, we ordinary Friends of Covent Garden
can only get one ticket for a dress rehearsal, for which we have to pay, and
aren't always lucky enough to get that.

Regards,

David

I think it is very kind of Alan to offer his extra dress rehearsal passes
to Opera-l. Obviously, he only has a limited number of tickets to give
away, so some people will be dissapointed, but isn't it better to have a
chance at getting a ticket than no chance at all? (And first come, first
served seems fair enough to me.)

Alan, thank you for your continued generosity -- please don't let a few
spoilsports ruin it for the rest of us! I'm sure you have better things to
do than mailing out tickets to people you don't even know (and that's
probably what you are thinking right now, I'll bet)... but please know that
most of us are VERY appreciative!

Best to all-
Teresa Romito, NYC
(who, BTW, didn't get a pass for OONY)

PS - Alan, also thanks for that post stating that anyone in the vicinity
should make the trip to see Billy Budd in DC... I took your advice and was
SO GLAD I went! Now, I'm just sad that I can't go to see the SF production
too.
