After hearing Il Pirata broadcast, I came to the final conclusion that Giordani new technique has solidified
his extreme upper register at he expense of consistency in the middle.
In addition, his voice has taken a comprimario quality that makes difficult to identify him on a blind test.
If you listen to the commercial recording of Il Pirata with Caballé and Bernabé Marti, you will find a
similarity between Marti and Giordani voices,in this role at least.
The only memorable moment from last Saturday broadcast was René Fleming Qual Sorriso....
